The Recorder tea towel
Cotton tea towel featuring a reproduction of the cover from The Monotype Recorder Vol.28, published in 1929.
The illustration is of the Monotype stand at the 1929 Printing and Allied Trades Exhibition, held at Olympia in London. Decorated with enormous painted capital M’s in warm orange and blue, the striking stand generated a lot of interest — especially when people found out its architect was none other than Eric Gill.
